Affiliate Marketing Disclosure
Last updated: 7 January 2026
A primary source of income for the Cairn & Cove brand is derived from affiliate marketing. This is where we may recommend or mention another brand or organisation, for example a hotel or experience booking platform, and gain a commission if our readers go on to make a purchase.
We are completely open and honest about which affiliate partners we may choose to work with (or refuse to work with) and make it clear if any content contains onward links or mentions that we may eventually benefit from financially.
However, promoting an affiliate does not indicate a bias towards that brand and our content will never be positively or negatively skewed as a result of the financial reward created by affiliate marketing. We will remain impartial and simply share links to places, products, services, tours etc. that we believe will improve our readers’ experiences. We will never link to organisations that are not fully aligned with our missions and values, or aren’t particularly relevant to the travel industry.
You are under no obligation to make a purchase after clicking on any affiliate links and you can simply avoid following external hyperlinks if you do not wish to engage with our affiliate partners, or visit their websites / profiles.
Please note that we do not share any personal data we may collect from you with third parties or affiliate partners. Read more about your data in our Privacy Policy.
